Words Matter - Let User Interface Speak

by  Marija Jamandilovski, UX Writer and Marketing Manager

October 07, 2019

Belgrade, Serbia

18h, 1 hour

How UX writing helps you communicate with your users even more efficiently and why it should be an integral part of your process? Whose job is it and why it's not just a passing trend? How words made 17% engagement increase on a booking site?

There are many questions about UX writing, and there are so many interesting answers. Let users go through your design without a single obstacle. Don't let them get frustrated with error messages. Google, Dropbox, and Airbnb have already formed skilled UX writing teams, and it never hurts to get some tips from the best players.

I'd like to help you add UX writing to your toolbox since it makes a world of difference. I also want to make you laugh very loud with the examples of how not to do it.

Becoming familiar with AI will ignite new thinking, shift approaches, deliver new tools, processes, and concepts. AI in design will be more about designing experiences, not UIs—creating better products and services and improving our lives. In this talk, we look at why designers and developers need to start exploring AI and ML (machine learning). It is designed to inspire, dispel the myth and eliminate the fear.
